Consultation-Music Therapy

Service Description

The purpose of a consultation is for the music therapist to assess whether music therapy services are appropriate for the client based on their current needs. Determining the appropriateness of music therapy services is different for each client and will consist of several assessment questions so that the music therapist can gather information to develop an individualized treatment plan and set progress goals with the client. The consultation will also include discussing pricing, scheduling, and frequency of services. If the music therapist determines that a client may not be appropriate for music therapy sessions at this time, the proper referrals for appropriate services will be made free of charge. Caring Creatives LLC believes that expressive therapy services for mental health should be accessible to all. Sliding scale rates will be considered based on the individual's financial situation.
